The North Tonawanda Lumberjacks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Olean Huskies to 51 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Island for a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier contest on Tuesday, January 10. North Tonawanda will battle a Vikings team coming off a 57-45 league loss to Kenmore West (Buffalo, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 4-5.

The Huskies (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY). The Gators enter the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I West contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Allegany-Limestone ran past Warren (Warren, PA), 70-61, in a non-league contest.
