West Washington Senators (Campbellsburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Perry Central Commodores (Leopold, IN), 48-41 in a league bout.

With the win, West Washington upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Senators travel to Lanesville (Lanesville, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Lanesville lost 46-42 in their recent league bout against South Central (Elizabeth, IN)

Next up, the Commodores play the Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Perry Central will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 70-46 league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN).
