In Friday's non-league outing, the Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Shawnee Mission North Bison (Shawnee Mission, KS), by a count of 57-21.

The Lancers (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Olathe South (Olathe, KS). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Olathe South smashed Blue Valley West (Stilwell, KS), 53-49, in a non-league outing.

The Bison now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mill Valley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 10. Shawnee Mission North will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Olathe South (Olathe, KS). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-3.
