Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN), 62-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Southridge upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN) to clash with the Wildcats in a Pocket bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Mt. Vernon lost 58-55 in their recent non-league bout against North Posey (Poseyville, IN)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Tecumseh will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 57-54 league loss to Crawford County (Marengo, IN).
