The West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA) basketball crushed the host Trinity Christian Tigers (Hull, IA), 72-48 in Friday's league test.
The Falcons (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA). The Westerners go into the War Eagle test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Akron-Westfield was trounced by South O'Brien (Paullina, IA), 46-35, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union for a War Eagle test on Tuesday, January 10. Trinity Christian will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 58-36 league loss to South O'Brien (Paullina, IA). The Royals record now stands at 1-4.
