New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT), 67-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Britain upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.
Next up, the Beavers play the Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Cheney RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
