Aberdeen Bobcats (Aberdeen, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Shelton Highclimbers (Shelton, WA), 51-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Aberdeen upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Elma (Elma, WA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Elma lost 69-42 in their recent non-league bout against Raymond (Raymond, WA)

Next up, the Highclimbers play the Rochester Warriors (Rochester, WA) in a 2A Evergreen bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Shelton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 35-31 league win over Black Hills (Tumwater, WA).
