Nebraska High School Basketball - Ainsworth trounced by Minden

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Minden Whippets basketball team scored a decisive 68-40 triumph over the Ainsworth Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Whippets meet the Valentine (Valentine, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 7. Minden will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 57-40 non-league loss to Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE).

With the defeat, Ainsworth moves to 2-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Holdrege (Holdrege, NE) to meet the Dusters in a non-league match on Saturday, January 7. The Dusters enter the match with a record of 3-7. Holdrege lost 38-36 in their recent league match against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE)
