Kansas High School Basketball - Hodgeman County crushes Ashland

January 6, 2023: Jetmore, KS 67854

Hodgeman County Longhorns (Jetmore, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS), 57-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hodgeman County upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Pawnee Heights (Rozel, KS) to clash with the Tigers in a Southern Plains-Iroquois bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Blue Jays clash with the South Central Timberwolves (Coldwater, KS) in a Southern Plains-Iroquois bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Ashland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 32-28 non-league loss to Meade (Meade, KS).
