The Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Lawton Wolverines to 17 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Friday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elgin for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Bishop McGuinness will battle a Owls team coming off a 60-31 non-league loss to Tuttle (Tuttle, OK). The Owls record now stands at 4-1.
The Wolverines (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Carl Albert triumphed over Georgetown (Georgetown, TX), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
