The Reicher Catholic Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Valor Preparatory Academy Knights to 23 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Live Oak Classical for a TAPPS 3A District 3 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Reicher Catholic will battle a Falcons team coming off a 54-23 league win over Holy Trinity Catholic (Temple, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 7-12.

The Knights (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stephenville FAITH (Stephenville, TX). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Stephenville FAITH was routed by Community Christian (Mineral Wells, TX), 52-25, in a non-league contest.
