The Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Bishop Ryan Lions to 49 in the Lakers league triumph on Friday.
The Lakers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood for a B Region 6 District 12 contest on Monday, January 9.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Stanley (Stanley, ND). The Blue Jays enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Stanley was defeated by Tioga (Tioga, ND), 63-37, in a league contest.
