The Britton-Hecla Braves basketball team (Britton, SD), was overwhelmed 58-25 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD)
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tiospa Zina for a A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Milbank will confront a Wambdi team coming off a 66-61 non-league loss to Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Wambdi record now stands at 4-4.
The Braves (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD). The Wildcats go into the B Region 1 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Northwestern Area was trounced by Sully Buttes (Onida, SD), 52-39, in a non-league outing.
