The Calumet New Tech Warriors basketball team (Gary, IN), was routed 47-26 in Friday's league battle with the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN)
The Ingots now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hebron for a non-league battle on Monday, January 9. River Forest will battle a Hawks team coming off a 56-20 league loss to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Hawks record now stands at 3-15.
The Warriors (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Boone Grove trounced River Forest (Hobart, IN), 56-29, in a non-league battle.
