In Friday's non-league match, the host Community Christian Royals basketball team scored a good 55-35 triumph over the Newcastle Racers.
In their next game, the Royals meet the Riverside Indian Braves (Anadarko, OK) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 10. Community Christian will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 8-1 record after their 62-32 non-league loss to Seiling (Seiling, OK).
With the defeat, Newcastle moves to 3-7 on the year. The Racers travel to Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, January 7. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 4-3.
