The Newark Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Dryden Lions to 16 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Lions (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Cayuga (Poplar Ridge, NY). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.
