South Dakota High School Basketball - Jones County can't hold off Wall

The Wall Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Jones County Coyotes to 45 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bennett County for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Wall will battle a Warriors team coming off a 44-26 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.

The Coyotes (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bison (Bison, SD). The Cardinals come into the B Region 8 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Bison edged Philip (Philip, SD), 59-35, in a league contest.
