The Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets basketball team (Mt. Hermon, LA), was toppled 52-37 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Kentwood Kangaroos (Kentwood, LA)

The Kangaroos now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Helena College and Career Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Kentwood will confront a Hawks team coming off a 39-22 non-league loss to Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 12-7.

The Yellowjackets (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA). The Wildcats come into the B District 7 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Christ Episcopal School beat Berwick (Berwick, LA), 37-18, in a non-league battle.
