The Lake Oswego Lakers (Lake Oswego, OR) basketball nipped the visiting North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR), 34-33 in Friday's non-league test.
The Lakers (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Tualatin (Tualatin, OR). The Timberwolves go into the 6A Three Rivers test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Tualatin got by Newberg (Newberg, OR), 49-28, in a non-league test.
The Black Tornado now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grants Pass for a 6A Southwest test on Tuesday, January 10. North Medford will encounter a Cavemen squad coming off a 60-35 non-league loss to Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA). The Cavemen record now stands at 6-2.
