Virginia High School Basketball - Lightridge overwhelmed by Riverside

The Lightridge Bolts basketball team (Aldie, VA), was overwhelmed 62-23 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA)

The Ram now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potomac Falls for a Potomac battle on Tuesday, January 10. Riverside will confront a Panthers team coming off a 64-51 non-league loss to Broad Run (Ashburn, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.

The Bolts (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA). The Huskies come into the Dulles battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Tuscarora trounced Heritage (Leesburg, VA), 61-52, in a league battle.
