South Central Timberwolves (Coldwater, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Medicine Lodge Indians (Medicine Lodge, KS), 42-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Central upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Meade (Meade, KS) to clash with the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Meade won 56-45 in their recent non-league bout against Ingalls (Ingalls, KS)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Kingman Eagles (Kingman, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Medicine Lodge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 53-41 non-league loss to Nickerson (Nickerson, KS).
