California High School Basketball - Mission Oak topped by Valencia

The Valencia Vikings basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Mission Oak Hawks to 44 in the Vikings non-league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Valencia will battle a Trojans team coming off a 79-16 league win over La Sierra (Riverside, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-7.

The Hawks (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Centurions come into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, Saugus topped Castaic (Castaic, CA), 83-6, in a league bout.
