Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY) and the visiting Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY), saw Saranac's basketball squad wallop Moriah by a tally of 57-23.

With the victory, Saranac improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY) to confront the Cougars in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 9-2.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Harrisville Pirates (Harrisville, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Moriah will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
