The Wahkiakum Mules basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Morton/White Pass Timberwolves to 40 in the Mules league victory on Friday.
The Mules now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rainier for a 2B Central contest on Wednesday, January 11. Wahkiakum will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 57-24 non-league win over Eatonville (Eatonville, WA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-0.
The Timberwolves (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Napavine (Napavine, WA). The Tigers come into the 2B Central contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Napavine prevailed over Onalaska (Onalaska, WA), 57-11, in a league contest.
