Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL), 34-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Romeoville upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Spartans host Yorkville (Yorkville, IL) to play the Foxes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Foxes go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Yorkville lost 57-32 in their recent non-league bout against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL)

Next up, the Wolves play the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Oswego East will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 59-50 league win over Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL).
