Nebraska High School Basketball - Sutherland succumbs to Sandhills/Thedford

The Sandhills/Thedford Knights topped the host Sutherland Sailors basketball team by a final score of 45-28 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE) in a D2 District 7 game, on Thursday, January 12. Sandhills/Thedford will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Coyotes enter the game with a 7-3 record after their 56-37 non-league win over Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE).

With the defeat, Sutherland moves to 0-6 on the year. The Sailors host Perkins County (Grant, NE) to face the Plainsmen in a non-league game on Saturday, January 7.
