The Sandusky Redskins basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots to 28 in the Redskins non-league triumph on Friday.

The Redskins now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harbor Beach for a Greater Thumb - East contest on Tuesday, January 10. Sandusky will meet a Pirates team coming off a 51-21 league win over Brown City (Brown City, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 1-7.

The Patriots (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Valley Lutheran ran past St. Louis (St. Louis, MI), 55-30, in a league contest.
