Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Timberlane Owls (Plaistow, NH) and the visiting Stark Generals (Weare, NH), saw Timberlane's basketball squad hold off Stark by a tally of 50-47.

With the victory, Timberlane improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH) to confront the Knights in a Division II challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
