The Preston Knights basketball team (Kingwood, WV), was nudged 53-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV)

The Indians now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grafton for a battle on Wednesday, January 11.

The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Sentinels come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Fort Hill was nudged by Northern (Accident, MD), 25-20, in a league battle.
