Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO), 43-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Discovery Canyon upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Thunder host Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO) to play the Bears in a bout on Thursday, January 12. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-3.
Next up, the Cardinals play the Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Elizabeth will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 41-28 non-league win over Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO).
