Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Doherty Spartans (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO), saw Doherty's basketball squad wallop Air Academy by a tally of 54-28.

With the victory, Doherty improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO) to confront the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 6-0.

Next up, the Kadets confront the Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Air Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
