The Union Grove Christian Patriots basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots to 15 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Christian for a contest on Tuesday, January 10. Union Grove Christian will battle a Cougar team coming off a 59-35 league win over Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC). The Cougar record now stands at 3-3.
The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Fellowship Baptist Academy (Durham, NC). The Eagles enter the contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Fellowship Baptist Academy triumphed over Sheets Memorial Christian (Lexington, NC), 38-11, in a league contest.
