The Goddard Rockets basketball team (Roswell, NM), was toppled 39-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM)
The Tigers now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Artesia for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7.
The Rockets (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Los Alamos beat Lovington (Lovington, NM), 34-19, in a non-league battle.
