JV Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Grace Classical Christian Academy Highlanders (Albertville, AL), 42-33 in a league bout.

With the win, JV Opponent upgrades its record to 71-200 on the season. The host The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-4. The Master's Academy won 40-22 in their recent league bout against Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC)

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions (Blountsville, AL) in a bout, on Monday, January 9. Grace Classical Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 43-11 non-league win over Tabernacle (Gardendale, AL).
