L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA), 48-23 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, L.C. Bird upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to John Marshall (Richmond, VA) to play the Justices in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Justices come into the bout with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Indians play the Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Powhatan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
