With the victory, Sandy Creek upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Fairbury (Fairbury, NE) to play the Jeffs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Jeffs come into the challenge with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. St. Paul will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
