The Manalapan Braves basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Asbury Park Bishops to 39 in the Braves non-league victory on Saturday.
The Braves now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colts Neck for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Manalapan will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 63-36 non-league win over Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.
Next up, the Bishops clash with the Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves (Trenton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Asbury Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
