In Saturday's non-league outing, the Baraboo Thunderbirds (Baraboo, WI) basketball squad edged the host Richland Center Hornets (Richland Center, WI), by a count of 53-47.
The Thunderbirds (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Stoughton (Stoughton, WI). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Stoughton held off Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI), 78-62, in a non-league outing.
The Hornets now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Prairie du Chien for a Southwest Wisconsin outing on Thursday, January 11.
