In Saturday's non-league outing, the Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY), by a margin of 84-74.
The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Villa Madonna (Covington, KY). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Villa Madonna defeated Dayton (Dayton, KY), 67-54, in a non-league outing.
