The Pendleton County Wildcats basketball team (Falmouth, KY), was overwhelmed 63-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Benton Rangers (Benton, IL)
The Rangers now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinckneyville for a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi battle on Friday, January 12. Benton will confront a Panthers team coming off a 72-57 non-league win over St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 14-4.
The Wildcats (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 7-8 record.
