Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sapulpa Chieftains (Sapulpa, OK), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bethany upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Bronchos host Tuttle (Tuttle, OK) to play the Tigers in a Western - North bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Tuttle lost 63-59 in their recent non-league bout against Stilwell (Stilwell, OK)

Next up, the Chieftains play the Memorial Chargers (Tulsa, OK) in a 5A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Sapulpa will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 87-42 non-league win over Crossover Prep (Tulsa, OK).
