Kentucky High School Basketball - Blazer can't hold off Corbin

The Corbin Redhounds basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Blazer Tomcats to 59 in the Redhounds non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Redhounds now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Laurel for a District 50 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Corbin will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 54-27 non-league loss to Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-3.
The Tomcats (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Lions enter the District 64 contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Boyd County was nudged by Webb (Knoxville, TN), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
