The Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles basketball team (Huntersville, NC), was overwhelmed 69-21 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Lake Norman Christian Storm (Davidson, NC)
The Storm now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Island Charter for a non-league battle on Monday, January 8. Lake Norman Christian will confront a Raptor team coming off a 70-59 non-league win over East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Raptor record now stands at 7-2.
The Eagles (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Combine Academy National (Lincolnton, NC). The Goats come into the Freelance battle with a 17-2 record. In their last battle, Combine Academy National trounced Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC), 66-59, in a non-league battle.
