With the victory, North Daviess upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Shakamak (Jasonville, IN) to play the Lakers in a Southwestern Indiana challenge on Friday, January 12. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Shakamak won 80-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Eminence (Eminence, IN)

Next up, the Braves play the Austin Eagles (Austin, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Borden will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 71-55 league loss to Eastern (Pekin, IN).
