The Colonels now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simpson Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 11. Copiah Academy will confront a Cougars team coming off a 73-19 league win over East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 17-3.

The Cougars (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bowling Green (Franklinton, LA). The Buccaneers come into the MAIS 5A District 3 battle with a 6-8 record.
