Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA), saw Carrollton's basketball squad knock off New Manchester by a count of 62-53.

With the victory, Carrollton upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Westlake (Atlanta, GA) to play the Lions in a AAAAAAA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Westlake lost 93-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA)

Next up, the Jaguar play the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. New Manchester will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 72-56 non-league win over Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA).
