Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host First Assembly Christian Crusaders (Cordova, TN), 66-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Tigers host Bryant (Bryant, AR) to clash with the Hornets in a 6A Central bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 18-3. Bryant won 57-48 in their recent league bout against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR)

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN) in a Division II-A West District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. First Assembly Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 63-62 non-league win over Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS).
