The Cheney RVT Beavers topped the visiting Woodstock Academy Centaurs basketball team by a final score of 45-36 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Beavers face the Hartford Public Owls (Hartford, CT) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 10. Cheney RVT will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Owls enter the game with a 1-7 record after their 46-41 non-league loss to South Windsor (South Windsor, CT).
With the defeat, Woodstock Academy moves to 4-5 on the year. The Centaurs host Killingly (Killingly, CT) to face the Redmen in a Eastern Connecticut II game on Tuesday, January 9. The Redmen enter the game with a record of 2-4. Killingly lost 51-42 in their recent non-league game against Griswold (Griswold, CT)
