The Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Woodbury Thundering Herd (Woodbury, NJ), 62-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Bridgeton notched a victory over Vineland (Vineland, NJ), 59-49, in a league test.
The Thundering Herd now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Paulsboro for a Colonial - Patriot test on Monday, January 8. Woodbury will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 57-47 league loss to Haddon Heights (Haddon Heights, NJ). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-5.
