Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD) and the visiting Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA), saw Wicomico's basketball squad wallop Chincoteague by a tally of 90-47.

With the victory, Wicomico improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Decatur (Berlin, MD) to confront the Seahawks in a Bayside - South challenge on Monday, January 8. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Decatur won 70-46 in their recent league challenge against Pocomoke (Pocomoke, MD)

Next up, the Ponies confront the Salisbury Christian (Salisbury, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Chincoteague will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
